SKILLS ACADEMIES

PostPro have a network of 10'000+ school leavers, graduates and released/retiring professional athletes, 250 of whom are identified and invited into the Skills Academy each year.

 

The program includes training, coaching and mentoring on:

  • Career Guidance

  • Employability Skills

  • Work-Readiness Experiences

  • Interpersonal Skill Development

  • Emotional Intelligence & Self-Awareness

 

The PostPro Skills Academies have two purposes:

1: Make the participants more employable & 'work-ready' by developing heightened interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.

2: Connect businesses with a bright, diverse and aspirational talent pool and work with them to nurture, develop and retain the people within their organisation.

 

Recruitment & Selection

PostPro connect Skills Academy participants to businesses from a multitude of sectors. How participants are connected and recruited is specified by the partnering business and in- keeping with their usual recruitment processes.

Once hired participants follow either a business or sports pathway.

The cost of hiring is defined by the qualification that the participant will undertake. For the business route, the cost is £1000 per successful hire, for sport the cost is £500 per successful hire.

Qualification & Training

Participants will either complete an L4 Business Analysis or L4 Sports Coaching qualification upon joining the business. Both qualifications are funded via the Apprenticeship Levy and delivered with a blended-learning, 'on-the-job' approach.

The formal training provides professional development opportunities, improves work- performance and is proven to aid in employee retention.
